Read more. "This is  an exceptionally important book  which should be read, re-read, and inwardly digested by all Christians, anyone wanting to learn more about God, and anyone seeking truth in general." ~Lloyd Regas; Streamcare Corporation Every day of our lives we absorb millions of pieces of information into our minds that, over time, form the way we look at the world. The problem is, the things we're taught are not always true. Marketing Expert Urges Authors to Make Monumental Moves

Often, a first-time author finds it hard to promote his or her new publication. Typically, authors view themselves as artists. It can be hard to equate artistic talents with the skills of a business person. Yet an author's ability to achieve that hard-to-reach goal determines his or her chances for success. He studies different websites, looking for examples of a cool marketing trick. He recently found one, but has not yet posted all the details on his own blog. Smart authors should welcome this chance to get a head start on their competition. Some noteworthy facts about Acunzo's discovery have been tucked into this blog post. A writer

Your Best Writing May Not Be What You Think By Carolyn Howard-Johnson

One of the biggest writing problems I see among people in my mentoring program, and others who hire me to improve their writing, is that they're afraid to write like they talk. They never use one-word sentences. They refuse to start sentences with words such as "and" and "but" because an elementary teacher way back when told them not to. They try to sound important when they write. So they use long words in long sentences that make up long paragraphs. They remove all slang from their writing so it's clean and pure. And often, boring. Business coach Michael Angier agrees. "Too many times, I see people who are good verbal communicators try to put on a different air in their writing," he says. "It doesn't work. It's much better to be conversational." Writing like you talk is one of 13 tips Michael offers for writing clearly and convincingly. It was one of the lead articles in an issue of Jo
